Setting up ACH in the TOMIS App

How to add and verify a new ACH payment method to your TOMIS account.

Step 1: Open your TOMIS account and click on the Settings icon in the top right-hand corner. From the Settings page, click on "Your Subscription" in the left-hand navigation bar.

On the Subscription you will find the details of your TOMIS subscription, including relevant marketing services and current billing information.

Step 2: On your Subscription page, select the "Add Bank Account" button.

Step 3: Once you've opted to add a new ACH payment, a modal will pop up prompting you to fill in:

  • Your Account Name
  • Account type
  • Account number
  • Routing number

Fill in these fields and hit submit. Please note that TOMIS does not store any of your personal banking information, instead relying on Stripe's 256-bit encryption and world-class security.

Step 4: Once you submit your information, Stripe will send two small payments (a few cents each) to the bank account on file. This is a security measure that allows us to verify your bank account.

Please note it may take 48 hours for these payments to show up in your account.

As soon as those small payments reach your account, you can log back in to the TOMIS app and select "Verify Bank Account"

Step 5: Provide the specific amount of the two small deposits and hit submit. Your account will be updated to use the new ACH as your default payment method for future TOMIS charges.

**Please note that ACH payments are available only to US-based bank accounts at this time.**
