      About Domain Verification in Business Manager

      Domain verification also allows you to manage editing permissions over your links and content in order to help prevent misuse of your domain. This includes both organic and paid content. Managing your ad link editing permissions also helps ensure only trusted employees and partners represent your brand.

      Note: You can't edit organic or unpublished Page post links unless you verify your domains in Business Manager.

      With recent Facebook and App iOS 14 updates, it is being recommended by Facebook to Verify the website Domain within the Business Manager. This will require you to do it from your end so you stay in ownership of everything within Facebook.



      To Verify the Domain in Facebook Business Manager

      1. Go to https://business.facebook.com/settings/
      2. Go to Brand Safety in the left menu
      3. Click Domains
      4. Click Add and add in yourwebsitedomain.com
      5. You will then have three options to verify the domain. We can help you verify it if you send us the Meta-tag Verification code (refer to the screenshot below)

      Once we install the Meta-tag for Verification on the website, TOMIS will send you an email and have you click the green "Verify" button on the Domain within the Business Manager to complete the setup process.
