Integrating with Ventrata

Connect your Ventrata booking system with Yonder to automate customer surveys and showcase live availability in your Chatbot and Voice Agent.

If your business uses Ventrata as a booking system, integrating it with Yonder will save you time, improve customer engagement, and enhance your booking workflow. This guide will walk you through the setup process to automate surveys, sync booking data, and enable real-time availability in your AI chatbot and voice agent.


Step-by-Step Integration Guide

Step 1: Create a Connection in Ventrata

  • Log in to your Ventrata Dashboard

  • Navigate to Connections > Connections

  • Click + New Connection

  • Select TOMIS from the available options

  • Name the connection Yonder and set it to Active

  • If required, configure destination or product whitelisting/blacklisting

  • Click Create Octo Connection to generate an API Key

  • Copy the API Key displayed

Step 2: Connect Ventrata in Yonder

  • Log in to Yonder

  • Go to Settings > Booking System > Ventrata

  • Paste your API Key into the designated field

  • Click Activate

Note: If your site uses the Ventrata widget, you may also need to connect your Checkout API Key. This can often be found in your website’s source code.

Review Request Automation

Once connected, go to Manage Products, where all your Ventrata 'items' will appear. Select which products should receive automated review requests. Make sure the Auto-send setting is enabled in Survey Settings.

Chatbot & Voice Agent Live Availability

You can enable the live availability feature in your chatbot Products tab. This allows customers to check real-time availability for their preferred date and time before proceeding with their booking. The Voice Agent can share live availability with guests over the phone as well.

Yonder now also supports enhanced Dynamic Links with Ventrata. When a user selects a date in the chatbot, they're taken to your booking page with that time pre-filled - creating a faster, more seamless booking experience.

How can I test the chatbot check availability feature?
You can test on your live website chatbot if it’s already installed. You can also use the “Test Chatbot” feature in Yonder; however, the Yonder test domain must be allowlisted in Ventrata. 

What are dynamic booking links?
Dynamic links connect directly with your Ventrata booking widget, allowing a more embedded and seamless booking experience compared to standard URLs.

Does Yonder sync all my Ventrata bookings automatically?
Yes, once integrated, your booking data will sync with Yonder, allowing automated surveys and AI ChatBot availability updates.

What should I do if some of my products are missing from Yonder?
If any Ventrata products are missing after integration, please contact support@yonderhq.com.

How long does it take for the integration to activate?
The integration is usually immediate, but allow a few minutes for data to sync.
