Yonder automatically sends survey and review requests to customers via email following events like a trip or room booking. Now, you can also send these requests via SMS, provided a valid mobile number is included in the booking details received from your reservation system. Additionally, you can enable reminders to be sent via both SMS and email or restrict them to email only.
Prerequisites & Important Notes
- SMS requests are available only for auto-send surveys and cannot be manually sent.
- SMS sending is currently limited to US and Canadian phone numbers.
- Check your Yonder plan to see the number of SMS requests and reminders included.
- It is not possible to send survey requests via SMS only without also sending an email.
How to Send Survey and Review Requests via SMS
- Log in to Yonder and click on the Reviews tab.
- Select Setup, then go to the Customize tab.
- Under Request, click the SMS tab.
- Enable the “Send requests to SMS” toggle.
- (Optional) Edit the SMS text as needed. The message will include a unique URL for the customer at the end.
- Click Save to apply changes.
How to Send Reminders via SMS
- Go to Setup and click on Send Settings.
- Open the Limits and Reminders tab.
- In the Where to send reminders dropdown, select Email and SMS.
- (Optional) Edit the SMS text as needed. The message will include a unique URL for the customer at the end.
With Yonder, you can now send automated survey and review requests via SMS in addition to email, helping increase response rates. While SMS reminders can also be enabled, manual survey requests via SMS are not supported. Review your Yonder plan to ensure you stay within your SMS limits.
