Learn how to test, share, and embed your interactive quiz using either your own website or a Yonder-hosted landing page

The Yonder Quiz feature is a powerful way to engage visitors and provide tailored recommendations based on their preferences. Once your quiz is ready, you can choose to either embed it directly onto your website or share it via a Yonder-hosted landing page - no extra development required.

In this article, we’ll guide you through previewing and testing your quiz, then walk you through both installation options so you can start capturing leads and delighting users straight away.

How to Test Your Quiz

Before sharing your quiz, it’s essential to ensure everything works as expected. If you haven’t set up your quiz yet, start with our Quick Guide to Setting Up Your Interactive Quiz.

To test your quiz:

Open the Recommend tab and select the quiz you’d like to test.
Go to the Settings tab.
Click on the Install tab.
Under the Test Your Quiz section, click Open.

You’ll be able to interact with the quiz in a test environment, where responses and results are not saved or counted. This is a great way to ensure the logic, visuals, and flow all feel right before going live.

How to Install and Share Your Quiz

Once you’re happy with your quiz, you’ve got two options for sharing it with your audience:

Option 1: Share via a Yonder-hosted landing page

Perfect if you want a quick, code-free way to start using your quiz.

Open the Recommend tab and select the quiz you’d like to share.
Navigate to the Settings tab.
Click on the Install tab.
In the Share with Users section, click Copy Link.
Use this URL anywhere - chatbot responses, your website, email campaigns, or social media.

Top Tip: Quizzes work brilliantly in chatbot welcome messages. For example, create a welcome button titled “Help Me Choose” with a message like: “To find the perfect tour for you, take our quiz: https://quiz-app.yonderhq.com?unique_id=XXX”

Option 2: Embed your quiz into your website

Ideal for keeping users on your site while enjoying a seamless experience.

Open the Recommend tab and select the quiz you’d like to install.
Head to the Settings tab.
Click on the Install tab.
In the Embed onto my website section, click Get Code.
Click Copy Code, then paste the snippet into your website's HTML wherever you’d like the quiz to appear.
