Customer surveys are a powerful tool for gathering feedback, identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities to improve your business. Adding custom questions to your Yonder survey can capture specific insights to help you make informed decisions. Yonder's AI ensures all feedback is organised and actionable for your success.


 

How to Set Up Survey Questions

  1. Open the Yonder app, navigate to the Reviews tab, and click Setup.
  2. Go to 'Step 2: Intelligent Feedback' and ensure you’ve selected 'Survey & Review'. (The ‘Reviews Only’ option does not support adding custom survey questions)

  3. Go to 'Step 3: Survey Questions' and click ‘Add Question’ to start customising your survey.





Types of Questions You Can Add

  • Star Ratings:  Allow customers to rate their experience on a scale of 1–5 stars. Ratings are pre-set with 1-star as "Poor" and 5-stars as "Excellent," but these labels can be adjusted. 

  • Single & Multi-Choice Selection: Enable customers to select one or multiple options from a predefined list. 

  • Short & Long Answers: Provide space for customers to leave detailed feedback. Use short answers for quick comments or long answers for more in-depth responses.





Top Tips for Customising Your Survey

  • Ordering Questions: To insert a question in a specific spot, hover between two existing questions (or at the top), and click the blue bar with the + button. To rearrange questions, delete and re-add them in your preferred sequence.


How to View Survey Responses

  1. Responses are available in the Reviews tab under All Reviews
  2. Filter source to Yonder to view Yonder survey feedback. Click on an individual review to see detailed responses.
  3. For a consolidated overview, navigate to the Survey Results tab, which displays insights from all responses within a selected timeframe.

No, you can toggle the required/optional setting for each question during setup.

How many custom questions can I add to a survey?
You can add as many or as few questions as you like! The sweet spot is around 4-8. Keep in mind, the more questions you add, the higher the drop-off rate, so choose questions purposefully.
