Take control of your booking flow - utilise your ChatBot’s Check Availability feature with Dynamic and Custom links to deliver a seamless, user-friendly booking experience.
When setting up product bookings in Yonder’s ChatBot, you have two options for linking to your booking system: Dynamic Links and Custom (Static) Links. Each method supports a different use case, depending on your booking system and the type of customer experience you’d like to offer. Use this guide to understand the key differences, setup steps, and when to choose each type.
What’s the Difference?
Dynamic Booking Links
Smart, seamless, and automated.
Dynamic links automatically pass selected dates and times from the ChatBot straight into your booking system — no manual setup or editing needed. When a user picks a date in the ChatBot, they’re taken to your booking page with that time pre-filled and ready to go.
How it works: Once a user selects a product and a time in the ChatBot, they’re taken directly to the booking page with that time preselected — no rework needed.
Best for:
- Booking systems that support API integration
- Reducing manual effort
- Providing a faster, smoother user experience
Custom Booking Links
Manual but flexible.
Custom links are manually added URLs that point to a fixed booking page. These don’t pass any date or time selections from the ChatBot — users will need to select their preferences again once they arrive.
How it works: You manually paste the URL for each product's booking page. This link is static, meaning no matter what date/time users select in the ChatBot, the link always points to the same booking page.
Best for:
- Booking systems that don’t support dynamic links
- Custom landing pages
- Businesses that want more control over specific URLs

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the key difference between a dynamic and custom booking link?
Dynamic links auto-fill date and time into your booking system using backend integration. Custom links are fixed URLs that require customers to reselect their booking details.
Why can’t I see the dynamic link option in my product setup?
If your booking system isn’t compatible with Yonder’s dynamic linking, the dynamic option will not appear. You can still use a custom link.
Can I use both dynamic and custom links for different products?
Yes! You can choose the best option for each product depending on your booking system and preferences.
What if I enable a product but forget to add a booking link?
Yonder will display a warning: “No booking URL configured.” The product won’t appear in the ChatBot’s Check Availability flow until a link is added.
