What Are Smart Summaries?

Smart Summaries are AI-powered overviews that highlight key themes and sentiments from your customer feedback. They help you quickly understand what's resonating with your guests and identify areas for improvement without manually reading every review or survey response.

 


 

How to Access Smart Summaries

1. Open the Reviews Tab

Start by logging into your Yonder dashboard. Navigate to the Reviews tab and click on Mentions to start tracking feedback.


2. Create Topics

Click Add Topic and enter a topic name and relevant keywords.

Example: To track pricing feedback, create a topic called Price. Include keywords like pricing, cost, affordable, expensive, and value to capture both positive and negative sentiments.

3. Monitor Topics:

Once your topics are set up, Yonder automatically gathers reviews and survey responses mentioning those topics.

4. View Smart Summaries

Go to the Smart Summaries tab.

At the end of each month, AI-generated summaries for each topic will be available. These summaries provide a snapshot of what customers are saying, so you no longer have to manually sort through individual reviews.


5. Share Your Summaries

You can copy and paste summaries into your own report templates OR download the webpage as a PDF for easy sharing with your team.

How many mentions are needed to generate a Smart Summary?
A minimum of 5 mentions per topic is required for a Smart Summary to be generated.

What happens if a topic doesn’t meet the 5-mention minimum?
If a topic doesn’t have enough mentions, a summary won’t be generated. Try adjusting your keywords or broadening the topic to capture more feedback.

How often are Smart Summaries updated?
Smart Summaries are generated at the end of each month.

Can I edit or delete topics after creating them?
Yes, topics can be edited or removed anytime to better suit your feedback monitoring needs.
